What We Do
The Purpose of RUF...The purpose of RUF is to reach students for Christ and equip students to serve him.
To
that end RUF works to build a permanent campus fellowship through which
students can explore the claims of Jesus Christ found in the bible and
experience meaningful relationships while they do so. This means that
in RUF we spend a good bit of time studying the bible in order to
discover what it says and to honestly wrestle with our questions about and objections to
Christianity. The main avenues we use to pursue our purpose are Large
Group meetings, Small Group bible studies, and face to face interaction.
The Goals of RUF...
The ministry of RUF is shaped by four interrelated goals. These four goals help us evaluate how we are doing at reaching and equipping students for Christ as a ministry and as individuals. In addition, they serve as a road map for how we need to mature as individuals and as a campus fellowship.
